It is believed that the Druids and other cultures celebrated the solstice because the day stopped shrinking and after the solstice the days began to grow again. So whether you celebrate, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Festivus, or all of them, it's time to celebrate the wonders of nature and our place in nature.
